Snekkie started out really simply.

With friends.

A car.

A few cold drinks.

Not the well-known tourist spots.

But the local spots everyone talks about through word of mouth.

The small sneks tucked away in a side street.

The truki pans where locals meet up after a night out.

The beach bars you'd only know about if someone took you there.

And that's exactly where we ran into the same problem:

the real island is hard to find.

Of course there are plenty of platforms for restaurants, reviews and tourist hotspots. But what was missing was a place where you could discover the island the way locals do.

That's why we built Snekkie.

We believe the most beautiful places often aren't front and center.

They're hidden around a corner.

At the end of a beach road.

Or somewhere Google Maps doesn't automatically take you.

That's where Snekkie begins.
