Me and my family, as well as my business partners, come here weekly and it never disappoints. Whether it's for a business meeting or a family dinner, Kant'i Awa always provides a great, relaxed atmosphere. The food is always fresh and well-prepared—the mixed grill platter and the meatballs are our favorites and are always served piping hot and cooked perfectly. What we love most is the personal touch; the staff really makes you feel welcome and they take great pride in their service. Don't let any strange negative stories distract you; this is an honest, clean, and fantastic spot in the harbor. Highly recommended for any occasion!

We sat down at a table at the edge of the restaurant. We ordered the spicy meatballs, some meat skewers and the meat platter. While waiting for our food, we saw a rat run by in the parking lot. We got the meatballs and one of them was still cold inside. Soon, the rat ran between the outside wall and a refrigerator. Not too long after that, it ran right past us and into a stuffed chair inside the restaurant. Meanwhile we're getting bit by mosquitoes. Our friend went and kicked the stuffed chair and the rat ran out!. We moved to a table in the center of the restaurant hoping that we would be left alone. Our food came. The skewers were fine, but the meat platter was supposed to be medium well. It was raw. Then the rat ran right through the center of the restaurant. It was then that we paid and left. We had all lost our appetites The staff used the excuse that they are near the docs and the fisherman feed the rats and there's nothing they can do, however, we ate at both restaurants nearby and had no issues. They need to find a way to cook their food properly and repel the rats. The scary thing is, the kitchen is wide open. Does the rat go in there when they're not around?
