We had dinner at O’Niel Caribbean Kitchen tonight. The food was excellent and the atmosphere is really nice, making it a beautiful setting for a relaxed evening out. The only issue we experienced was with the timing of service. We ordered a bottle of wine hoping to enjoy it before dinner, but it wasn’t brought to the table until after our food had already been served. We had planned for a more leisurely, romantic dinner and ended up cutting the evening shorter than expected because of that. I’ve noticed a few other reviews mentioning similar timing issues, so it may be something worth addressing. The food itself was very good and the atmosphere is lovely. The jerk chicken and the fall of the bone ribs were excellent, just didn’t want to feel so rushed to eat. Oneils Lounge next door is a great spot to hit beforehand . We have hoped to go there for Karoke after but since our meal was so fast we finished much earlier than expected and missed it.
