My wife and I stopped in for breakfast this past Wednesday around 9:30 AM. The restaurant had only 2 occupied tables. One was already served, and the other was a large party of 12. The server was taking their beverege order as we entered. My wife and I seated ourselves. Shortly alter another group of 6.seated themselves. Subsequently another coupe arrived and took a table. The server returned with drinks for the table of 12, then proceeded to take their order. She left again and eventually proceeded to the table of 6 with menues. Again she left the dining area and upon her return started taking beverages orders from the group of 6. After more than 20 minutes without any acknowledgement, we left and will not return.

We very much enjoyed the delicious rijsttafel at Landhuis Daniel (we didn't stay at the Landhuis;.we drove up from Blue Bay to go to the restaurant because we like Indonesian food). It would be even better with smaller portions and a few more dishes, but definitely no complaints about what we were served. We're pretty particular about rendang, and Landhuis Daniel's version was one of the best we've ever had. But all the dishes were flavourful and beautifully spiced.
