It's a warm and welcoming place. The food is excellent, the service is fast, and the staff is wonderful. The chicharrón al barril (pork rinds cooked in a barrel) is spectacular, the hamburgers are delicious, and they have a sauce station that's a delight. It's a truly excellent place.
Open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 pm
We tried Fire Rock Caribbean Grill and it's definitely a new spot worth checking out in Caracas.
The highlight was their chicharrón al barril ceviche: a unique, crispy, and fresh combination with lime, onion, and cilantro, served with perfectly golden tostones. It's important to know that this chicharrón is only available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, making it even more special.
We also tried the mixed patacón (beef and chicken), a generous portion packed with flavor, the Philly cheesesteak with fries, the double-patty burger with a delicious special sauce, as well as shrimp and a steak burrito that paired perfectly with garlic sauce.
Another plus is the "sauce station," where you can customize your meal with pico de gallo, chimichurri, pica, and other sauces.
The atmosphere is ideal for an evening out—relaxed, with tables to sit and enjoy, food truck style.
Overall, a good variety, generous portions, and a different concept within the Caracasbaai area. Recommended if you want to try something new.
