Very disappointing experience. We were asked to leave because we didn’t have a shirt on while walking back from the beach. If there’s a dress code, that’s completely fine — but it could have been communicated politely and respectfully. Instead, the way it was handled felt rude and unnecessary. The overall atmosphere also made us feel uncomfortable, as if we didn’t belong there. Everyone was staring, and the interaction left us feeling singled out. It was not a welcoming environment at all. Respect goes a long way, and unfortunately that was lacking here.

Made reservations through email and got a quick response. You can sit outside or inside. We chose to sit inside, but I would choose outside if there's a nice breeze or it's later in the day. We went early in the evening but the place got really full within an hour. This was one of our favorite meals during our stay. Started with the berenklauw, which was very tasty especially when you dipped the meat and onions into the peanut sauce. The stew was very comforting. The fries are best when dipped into the accompanying mayo. The pork chops were delicious—flavorful and juicy. The dipping sauce was good too. The baked potatoes it came with were yummy. The food was reasonably priced and the servers are so helpful if you have any questions about the menu.
