We ate at many restaurants during our trip to the island, and our dinner at L’Avenue was our favorite by far! We were served by Suzanne who was so lovely and friendly. I ordered the Early Bird special, offered 5-7pm, and highly, highly recommend it! I chose the truffle quiche with salad as my first course and it was so very delicious. For my second course I ordered the half beef stew, half seafood stew, which came with mashed potatoes. And for dessert I had vanilla ice cream with cranberry compote and Belgian waffle stick My goodness all of it was divine! I will be dreaming of both stews when I go back to snow at home. My husband ordered the entrecôte with fries and salad and that was his favorite meal of the trip as well. They have a good kids menu (pasta with different sauces, steak, chicken nuggets) but our picky son went with the Belgian waffle with chocolate sauce. He ate all of it and never eats all of a breakfast dish like that. We plan to return to the island someday and will definitely dine at L’Avenue again and again!

This is a great new restaurant from the people that own Papillon, which is another one of our favorites. The food is amazing. You have to try the seafood stew or beef stew, it’s excellent. Plus the staff are all so nice, especially Suzan who is always so happy and upbeat! Plus my wife has a gluten allergy and they’ve always been able to take very good care of her. Highly recommend!
