They were out of nearly everything we tried to order! No shakshuka (which was presented to us on their December specials menu), no avocado, no oat milk, no chai….they didn’t even tell me they were out of oat milk, just brought me a dairy latte (which I can’t have) and only found out when I took a sip and knew it didn’t taste like oat milk. No real apology or anything….and to top it off there were gnats everywhere so it was not very enjoyable all around.

Our meals were great and the staff was kind and attentive. However, it’s a shame they charge an exorbitant fee for added syrups and milk alternatives, with no mention of this on the menu, or while ordering. My $5.50 latte turned out to be TEN DOLLARS after the bill arrived - an additional $1.50 for half and half, and $3 for vanilla syrup. I’ve never seen anything like this even in posh areas of Manhattan. This unfortunately put a dampener to what would have been an otherwise pleasant experience.
